Why won’t my wall gas heater light?
Common causes are a dirty or out pilot, a failed igniter, a thermostat that is not calling for heat, or a gas-valve / safety lockout. Text a photo — we diagnose on site and give a written estimate before repair.
Won’t light, barely heats, or you want a gas / carbon monoxide check? We service, repair, and replace wall-mounted gas heaters across LA and the San Fernando Valley — written estimate before any work.

Call or text if your wall furnace / wall-mounted gas heater:
These are the jobs we book every week in LA apartments, older homes, and rentals that still heat with a wall unit instead of central heat.
Most “no heat” calls are repairable without a full swap. On site we diagnose and, after you approve the estimate, fix common wall-heater faults:
We service typical residential wall heaters seen on LA jobs — including Williams and similar wall furnaces. Send the brand plate or a clear photo if you have it.
If the heat exchanger, cabinet, or vent path is shot — or parts cost more than a new unit — we write a replacement estimate before we pull the old heater. After you approve, we remove the failed unit, set the new wall heater, reconnect gas and controls we scoped, and test heat and venting we can reach.
The new unit may be customer-supplied or discussed after the look. Extra vent, drywall, or permit work is called out in the estimate — we do not start that unless you approve it.
We check fittings and connections at the heater for gas leaks and test for carbon monoxide around the unit, plus a visual look at the vent path we can see (including the roof termination when we have access).
Emergency: if you smell gas, hear hissing, or a CO alarm is sounding, get everyone out, call 911 or the gas company, and do not operate the heater. Message us after it is safe for follow-up service.
A leak / CO check is not a substitute for a whole-house gas-line survey or a fire-department response.
If the heater is fine but the room never calls for heat, we can swap the wall-heater thermostat and confirm the unit responds. If the heater itself is the problem, we say so before any extra parts.
We usually reply within 15 minutes during business hours. Next-day visits are often available — not guaranteed same-day. Extra parts, vent work, or access issues are discussed first.
Visit-based — we come to you in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and nearby cities including Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Studio City, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, and Northridge. Message your ZIP if you are unsure.
