Apartment Gas Fireplace Repair in Los Angeles

The gas fireplace in your apartment or condo won’t light, the pilot keeps going out, or you want a leak / carbon monoxide check? We service residential gas fireplaces across LA and the San Fernando Valley — written estimate before any work.

Text a photo of the fireplace to (916) 450-1268 — we usually reply within 15 minutes (Mon–Sun, 8am–8pm). A technician inspects the unit, controls, and connections we can reach, then you get a written estimate before repair. If you smell gas or a CO alarm is on, leave the building and call 911 or the gas company first.

Apartment and condo gas fireplaces

Many LA apartments and condos heat a living room with a vented gas fireplace — not a wood chimney and not a wall furnace. We service those built-in and wall-style gas fireplaces: seasonal check, no-light repair, and a leak / CO look at the unit.

This is different from a Williams-style wall gas heater. If you are not sure which you have, send a photo — we will tell you before we book the visit.

Signs your gas fireplace needs service

  • Won’t light, clicks, or the pilot will not stay lit
  • Wall switch, remote, or millivolt control does nothing
  • Weak flame, soot on the glass, or an odd smell when it fires (not a strong gas leak — that is an emergency)
  • A carbon monoxide alarm nearby, or you want the unit checked before winter guests

Gas fireplace repair in Los Angeles

On site we diagnose and, after you approve the estimate, fix common apartment-fireplace faults:

  • Pilot, igniter, and flame-sensor issues
  • Gas valve and burner problems
  • Wall switch, remote, or millivolt control faults
  • Seasonal clean and inspect of the firebox and glass we can reach

Extra glass, log-set, vent, or building-access work is called out in the estimate. We do not start that unless you approve it.

Gas leak and carbon monoxide (CO) checks

We check fittings and connections at the fireplace for gas leaks and test for carbon monoxide around the unit, plus a visual look at the vent path we can see.

Emergency: if you smell gas, hear hissing, or a CO alarm is sounding, get everyone out, call 911 or the gas company, and do not operate the fireplace. Message us after it is safe for follow-up service.

A leak / CO check is not a substitute for a whole-house gas-line survey, a chimney sweep, or a fire-department response. We do not service wood-burning chimneys.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service apartment gas fireplaces, not just wall heaters?

Yes. We service residential gas fireplaces common in LA apartments and condos. A wall furnace (Williams-style grille) is a different unit — send a photo if you are not sure.

Why won’t my gas fireplace light?

Common causes are a dirty or out pilot, a failed igniter, a wall switch or remote that is not calling for flame, or a gas-valve / safety lockout. Text a photo — we diagnose on site and give a written estimate before repair.

Do you test for gas leaks and carbon monoxide?

Yes. We check connections at the fireplace for gas leaks and test for carbon monoxide around the unit. If you already smell gas or a CO alarm is on, get out and call emergency services first.

Do you clean wood-burning chimneys?

No. This service is for gas fireplaces. We do not sweep wood chimneys or do masonry work.

How much does gas fireplace repair cost in Los Angeles?

It depends on the fault and the parts. Text a photo to (916) 450-1268 — we usually reply within 15 minutes during business hours. Final pricing is a written estimate after we see the unit. No work until you approve.

Do you offer same-day fireplace service?

We do not guarantee same-day visits. Next-day appointments are often available — ask when you message us.
